THE BRIEF — A transparent accessory is the limit case of still life: the material has no surface of its own, it reflects its surroundings and refracts what it holds. In a studio this is solved with hours of lighting and retouching, for every single shot.
 
THE PRODUCTION — Still life of the transparent product, rendering refraction, reflection and material thickness. Colour and background variants on the same object. A complete image set for the product page.
 
THE METHOD — Transparency is controlled by governing what surrounds it: background, light sources, what the object refracts. We build the environment the way a still life photographer would, then change it at marginal cost — which in a studio would mean striking the set.
