THE BRIEF — In beauty, an image has to do two contradictory things: show believable skin and show a desirable result. Traditional retouching solves the second by destroying the first.
 
THE PRODUCTION — Beauty portraits with realistic rendering of skin, grain and light. Skincare product still life, with glass, cream and reflection. A coordinated set for campaign, e-commerce and social.
 
THE METHOD — Skin is built as a material, not retouched as a flaw: grain, subsurface, wet reflection, light transition. That is the difference between a contemporary beauty image and a polished one the audience has learned not to believe.
